Book Review:
I can remember as a kid hearing this story on the TV. I always thought it was just a movie. So when I saw it online on my kindle, I was excited. This was listened to by audiobook. It took just under 2 hours to listen to and I loved EVERY minute of it. The characters are great! The Herdman children are hilarious and each times they pull something new, I was cracking up. The storyline played out well, each comment pulled you further into the story. Get ready for excitement, minor crime, crazy comical commotion, and so much more. The best part is that it is also telling the Christmas story by the end. It made me wonder if the Herdman’s continued going to church, how they were as they got older, and if any of them became Christians. The poor lady running the pageant made me think of every single Christmas play I had ever directed and to be thankful that they went well. Make sure to read the whole book OR listen to the audio. It is so worth it! So glad I got this book. FIVE STARS!!!
