So, I was trying to figure out what would be the best thing to start this blog out with. Something that really meant a lot to me. I thought about the different aspects of my life and went from item to item but always came back to one thing. Of course, I will be writing blurbs about products I try, things I do, places I go, and movies/tv I see but those are all nothing. So I want to start this blog out with the one thing that means more to me than anything else. More than my husband-yes. More than my children-yes. More than my life itself-yes. So here it is. The most important thing to me, in my entire life, is my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am by far not a perfect person. I have sinned so much in my life but am so glad that I am forgiven. I can honestly say that day by day I have to give my life back to the Lord and continually ask him to forgive me for all the stupid things I do. But that is the great part. No matter how many times I fall, the Lord always accepts me back. How awesome to have such a graceful and forgiving God. My God is and always has been there for me no matter what I do. I am so thankful for this!
HERE IS THE BEST PART!! This is something that you can totally have as well. Let me explain. What separates us from God and Heaven? Sin! What is sin? Sin is the bad things we do. Have you ever sinned? Yes, of course. We have all sinned. Seriously, we all know that is true. The Bible even says in Rom. 3:23 that For All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We cannot be with God if we are full of sin. The Bible also says that “the wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6:23a) death=Hell. Hell is a place of eternal torment, fire, brimstone. You cannot want that. But the rest of that verse is so awesome…Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You can have eternal life in Christ. It is so easy and so awesome. Because Jesus gave his life for us. Rom. 5:8 while we were yet sinners ((seriously, while we were still sinning!!!! WOW))) Jesus died on the cross to forgive us of our sins. Jesus shed his blood as sacrifice for us. We just have to do one thing to complete to have this. To have the Love of God with us at all times and the Bible tells us exactly what to do in Romans 10:13- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED!!!!! Just pray! Tell God you are sorry for sinning and you want him to be Lord and Saviour of your life, that you believe he died on the cross to save you and want to accept him into your life. It is that simple.
